3. What is Neurofeedback?

  • Neurofeedback is a specialized form of Biofeedback that may help the brain more effectively and efficiently self-regulate. Using sensors that monitor brainwave activity, the feedback process involves sitting comfortably in front of a computer screen and playing a specialized video game. As the game is played visual and audio feedback guide the brain in producing desired brainwave patterns. Neurofeedback sessions are like gym exercises for the brain.
